The majority principles of the company are citizens of Belize or are foreign citizens who have been visiting and enjoying the country of Belize for years. All of the principals involved have owned or operated similar developments and see this facility as a unique opportunity to feature their years of combined talent in a world-class destination.

Our Management and Operations Team

• Jamie Forbes, a resort developer and partner, has an extensive and lengthy background in real estate and development of beach front resort communities. His knowledge of large-scale projects such as this one is an invaluable asset to the development of the Blue Reef Island Resort.
• Thomas Forbes, a consultant and partner, has a background of 26 years in the travel and tourism industry. Mr. Forbes has a strong knowledge of the American tourist and what experience they desire on a visit to a place as beautiful as the Cayes (Keys) of Belize.
• Allan Kieffer, another principal operating in the role of Resort General Manager. He has a background in resort management and culinary arts having worked with top companies around the U.S. including Hilton Hotels in Atlanta.  Mr. Kieffer provides the operational knowledge for our resort's day to day operations.

Our Marketing and Sales Team

• Walter Milgroom, our marketing consultant, also has an extensive and lengthy background in the real estate and leisure industry. Mr. Milgroom currently operates his own business that caters to the leisure industry.
• Ramon Nunez, Sr., one of the major principals and a native of San Pedro, has an extensive background in the leisure industry and has seen the area flourish during his time on the island. Mr. Nunez brings his long background of successful business to Blue Reef Island Resort and also adds his knowledge of the area and its people.

Our Construction Team

• Douglas Meigs, this general contractor trained in the United States heads up the construction of Blue Reef Island Resort. His 30 years experience, knowledge of construction and design ensures the safety and satisfaction for all of our owners and guests.
